If you explain to her why do you ask her this question, then I think it would be justifiable...This should eliminate any thoughts of her that you are wierd!

Seems like a simple question to me. If she thinks that you are wierd because you asked that then the problem is her, she is stupid. Some people analyze way to much.

She's probably noticed that the kisses aren't so great. Why don't you just tell her how YOU want to be kissed? Use positive reinforcement. "I really like it when you suck on my lower lip. More, please." Then you can ask "what do YOU like?"
