headache

ive had a headache for the last 3 days-well it comes and goes. Its really intense and like a pounding at the side of my head.
Also keep going light headed and dizzy.

tried taking things for it but they dont help

Well, I don't want to freak you out completely, but someone I used to work with had a persistent headache in one part of her head and it turned out to be a brain tumor. For real.

Drink lots of water- that can really help, and if it doesn't clear up soon, go see a doc.

i do drink loads anyway, ive had it before- actually was when i was pregnant, but even then not as bad as it is now.
i dont usually suffer from them but i will see if it eases over the next few days.

No not yet, taking some painkillers.TBH i think its brought on by work- i spend half my time staring into a microscope and the other half at a computer screen!

Well im gonna go to the doctors tomorrow..ive had the headache all weekend on and off with no more than a couple of hours break before it reappears..had loads of dizzy spells but the final straw was sort of half fainting at work today...really scary and almost like my hearing went and my vision distorted and i lost my balance..but only for a matter of seconds.

Sorry to hear Qwerty...it sounds like maybe it could be a blood sugar issue, I hope they can figure it out for you tomorrow.

They checked my blood sugar and thats fine. Ive been referred to hospital(neurology) for thursday so hopefully they can get to the bottom of it
