Is romantic love worth investing in

With this you are investing time, feelings, trust, part of yourself in the other, enabling you to love someone other than self. Also with this investment comes your heart and the possibility of disappointments in the individual you are inviting into your love life, jealousy, family turmoil, emotions. True romance and passion is rare as it is not a gimmick or plot to play with one's heart, although these are sometimes the result. With that being said is romantic love worth investing?

What are your beliefs about experience & risk? The question is relevant.
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

if theyre cute and a sweetheart, its worth a gamble. Its not living if youre not sharing your heart with someone.

You make it sound like you have something better to do haha. I think the lack of romance and love can really hurt and is all worth putting up with the rest of the stuff...not to mention how rare it can be for some.

"because I paid attention in science class."

Gaddes just likes to post these random questions. Is why I posted another question in response. Very socratic, lol.

It's inevitable. Humans crave companionship. If we don't invest in romantic love, we start to feel "lonely" as we get older. We'll get hurt more if we don't pursue it unless you have something else to replace it. Like an obsession with science or something.
