help: In love with man met on line and in person

We exchanged emails and then talked on the phone and met in person.it was like majic we fell in love. then he had to move far away..we kept emailing..his last words to me were 'I love you very much' until I wrote him an email about the fact that I am dating other men. now he's seems to have pulled back on the romance a bit. what should I do ? he hasn't met anyone. should I not talk about other men to him? how can I fix this?

Did you guys discuss not being exclusive? If not, I'm sure he was shocked to find out that you were dating other guys. Sounds like you guys need to be talking about your relationship and where, if anywhere, it's going. In short, get on the same page about things so everybody knows what to expect.

If you love him why would you date other people? Wouldn't you make an effort to make it work? Why do you think he wouldn't "pull back on romance" ? You can't have the same affectionate attention from two people. He sees you moved on/ didnt take him seriously so he's going to move on. simple as that

interestingly, I dropped the whole topic of other men and he came back full force with words of love and all.
