    On Not living together

My guy, of close to one year appears to be
Very in to me, but does not want to commit to living
Together. I have two young, very wild kids and he is at the
End of having to look after his own, last one is 17.
He wants to be able to work less and travel and not feel the
Inevitable responsibility he thinks he will feel for my kids if we live together.
Guys do you think this is legite or the old if he really loved
Me he would work towards that sort of commitment.
I get him - young kids are hard work and I am not sure how
Readily I would give up my freedom once mine are 18 to take on new ones.
Had anyone juggled successful long term living together/ apart relationships?

Yes, it's totally understandable that a person would not want to go back to scratch to raise kids again. While I know people who have done so, I'm sure not everyone would love the idea.

Add to that the fact that your kids are, by your own description, "very wild" and I can clearly see why he's not open to the idea. Thing is, once kids are involved, it's no longer about just you and him and love. It's also very much about how he feels about your kids and parenting style.

Sigh....the rest of the story would have been helpful http://www.loveforum.net/threads/82426-Thoughts

The two of you are in very different stages of you life at present. If you want a man who will be part of a family, you'll have to find someone else.
