Why women string along some ex bf's.

My most recent ex was my favorite we moved really fast and the crashed. Shes hot and I know it sounds shallow but it made it hard for me to treat her like my other ex's. She still flirts me with online and calls from time to time to tell me how much she misses me, but we never drunk dial. Im not going to lie I think about her alot but dont let her know. She has came to visit from college numerous times but does not call to come see me, she tells me she wants to see me before she gets here but once here she'll call me to ask directions to a club or bar. I know this is all emmotional torture but I never had a ex like this, I ignored her for about a year but almost like clockwork she called every two weeks then once a month, she called more the more I ignored her. She is on bf #3 now since me and still strings me along. Whats the deal and what does she want out of this?
