The concept actually makes sense when you think about it. The only people dumb enough to wear a purity ring are those who wouldn't be able to exercise responsibility with their sex organs.

By wearing a purity ring your saying "I don't know the difference between making a conscience decision with whom I sleep with and what contraception measures we should take." Usually because if you grow up in a religious household any conscience thought about sex is discouraged.

What better way then to convince them to wear something that immediately labels them so normal people can avoid them.

Avoid them? Why would I want to avoid them? They're great fun! We used to scare the hell out of kids like that in school.

Even now.. when I have a Jehovah's Witness come knocking on my door.. I consider that to be an opportunity for free entertainment... Their reactions to my responses are priceless.

Still haven't had one consider joining the "Satanic" Church... oh well...
