This is something I've been wondering about for a while.. Is it okay for a girl to approach a guy if she likes him? I've heard some people say that guys like it when girls show them what they want and don't let the guy do all the work, but I've heard others say that such girls are easy targets for players, and guys don't want to get serious with girls if they didn't have to try hard to win them over..

And how do you feel about girls who play hard to get? Some girls say it works really well, but I always wonder how a guy is supposed to know whether you are playing hard to get, or just want him to get out of your face.. Because it seems kinda pushy to keep trying so hard if the girl turns you down all the time right?

I'm a guy and I've been hit on and love it - and no I don't immediately assume that makes the woman some kind of slut/pushover/easy lay etc - but then I'm a grown up not some stupid adolescent. Chasing women who are hard to get - done that too but then I was so determined to have her so it was worth the effort.

Guy will know you just want him to get out of your face if you tell him to piss off.

There is nothing wrong with a girl hitting on a guy but I do suggest not doing it in a slutty way. Don't go up to a guy and rub his chest and telling him how good looking he is. That is a turn off. You can hit on him in a more indirect way by simply initiating a conversation, then invite him out to go do something later in the week.

Hard to get girls? Only works if the guy's already developed some feelings for you and has decided you're worth his efforts.

That is my favorite move. That mostly seems to happen to me at bars, and each time I return the compliment, including trying to rub her chest

Yeah, only a player or maybe a mindless macho man is going to be bothered if the girl hits on him. And to a shy guy, it would be a dream come true for a girl to hit on him.
