I like my Ex's best mate...

    OK...

I'm a dude and I went out with this girl for about 2months.

She seems to be obsessed and took her ages to get over me, I still don't know if she is over me 100%.

But I really like her friend... Her best friend...

I have been to nandos, and chilled with her mate a few times, as in, just the two of us... I know I may be splitting their friendship up but I really like this girl and I'm going to try for her.

    But I need your advice:
    - Has anyone has been in this situation, and what did you do?
    - Or what approach do you think I should take to get her ?

Well, for a 2 month relationship that has apparently been over for some time, I don't think it's crossing any lines to date her friend if that's what the both of you want.

Your approach? Just an honest, genuine one. No reason for an angle.

I'm already her friend. But do u think I should become
more closer to her as a friend before dropping it to her??

What if she wants to stop being friends... That's what i'm worried about

You'll never know unless you ask her. There's nothing else you can do, really. Good luck!

Thanks guys!! I'm going to do it next time I see her!!

Two more thing tho? Should I become closer before telling her?
And if she says no worth asking again? As the seeds would have been planted... Lol. That shins sinister but puts it pretty well n too the point.

I don't think you should wait to become closer to her. You are already friends with her, if you are into her she probably has noticed already so there's no point in waiting. If she says no, don't ask again.

Of course... why would you, when she has already rejected you once?

Sorry, I interpreted these as semi-dates, and that the two of you both understood there was some feelings brewing.
