Who is morally corrupt - an honest prostitute or a lying/cheating girlfriend???

Considering that so many of us lie and cheat on our partners, girlfriends/boyfriends, husbands/wives, a thought came to mind this evening and I would like your opinion on this.

Who do you think is morally 'more' corrupt?

A prostitute who due to her circumstances/needs or just a weak personality ended up in this degrading trade but never lied in her life or cheated on anyone.

OR

A 'normal' woman who is a loving girlfriend and a 'caring' person but has cheated and lied to all her past and present partners while being in 'normal' relationships.

I was in deep love with this girl, for like the longest time, over the internet. Then she started ignoring me because of some crap she read me typing that didn't mean anything much. Finally when her and I got locked in a "I dumped you first" argument thing, I said look, ENOUGH HURT. So we somewhat kissed and made up. Without the body contact.

And now, even though I told her while she was gone I screwed prostitute (bad sex on top of it), she's actually LISTENING to what I have to say now! Imagine that!

The prostitute is using society at its nastiest level. Money for sex.
On the other hand, the lying/cheating girlfriend is using the boyfriend! Also possibly for money and sex!

Personally, I don't have a problem with prostitution. The fact that it's associated with sleazy pimps and other human parasites has more to do with the fact that it's illegal than any inherent moral corruption, kind of like marijuana use.

Lying and cheating are disgusting and evil, in my opinion. There's no comparison between the two- the girlfriend is worse.

I agree with Giga, the cheating gf is worse. Everyone has sex, some people just get money for it. Who cares. They're not hurting anyone.

When your actions cause harm to others, or have the potential to, that is when they are morally reprehensible.

With a prostitute, there is no emotional attachment, unlike the girlfriend and so when she cheats, she's not just physically cheating, but emotional aswell...

Many prostitutes in are their situation out of desperation or are forced into it as young, impoverished girls. Especially in countries where sex trafficking is more widespread. Is it morally wrong to exchange sex for money when the alternative is that your pimp is going to murder or abuse you if you don't?

Morally corrupt are the men (and women) that prey on desperate people and help to put them in those circumstances.

As for cheating in a relationship, I definitely think it's morally wrong if it causes emotional harm to someone else. The act itself morally wrong, but I don't know if it necessarily makes the person "corrupt." Good people can make mistakes, too.

Those who do work for agencies are generally treated no more poorly than any other employee. Things are changing. Sucks to be a crackwhore on the street, sure, but how is it morally corrupt for two willing adults to engage in intercourse? Why does the exchange of money for services make it wrong? How is it any different from a man paying an attractive woman to give him a massage? Disease, perhaps? Precautions can be taken. Surely there must be something else.

It's called religion and its so called "moral". That's the only problem with prostitution.. people are brainwashed.
