It's funny how sometimes the most simplest and littlest things in a relationship can speak volumes.
We were at a restaurant with friends and at some point decided to go to a club. At the door the bouncer didn't let me in because of inappropriate attire, so a bunch of us (my friends, friends of friends and my girl) got together outside and started talking. Nothing important just the usual casual chatter.
At some point during the conversation one of the guys that I've never met before, smartly dressed bloke turned to my gf and jokingly said "You know just because they're not letting HIM in, doesn't mean you don't have to come, we'll look after you". This was an invitation to make some casual snipe at me. Any other girl I was with before would've smiled, thanked the guy for his offer and then with a joke at my expense and a short boost to their ego would've declined. What my girl did was completely unexpected. She simply looked in the opposite direction to him and pretended that he simply didn't exist and his words were never uttered, refusing to acknowledge his invitation to snipe at me entirely. Casual glances of my friends darted around. The guy with a sheepish smile bowed his head and then like a castrated dog with tail between his legs abruptly disappeared.
It's interesting how something so simple can be so beautiful and so powerful. This was an unprecedented act of devotion

My gf was getting hit on by a guy last night in front of me. I got her out of there and afterward she was like "he wasn't flirting with me"...I said yes he was.
Well he is friends with one of our mutual friends and that friend gave him her number and like and hour later she got a text that said "do you want to come over to my place"...I was like see...I ****in knew it...thats why I got your ass outta there.
I'm gonna beat Aaron's ass next time I see him for given out her number to other guys.Completely baffled by a backward indication

I've been with those kinds of girls before as well. The ones who get "ego hits" when strangers flirt with them. The problem is they'll twist the truth, they'll deny the obvious and they'll turn everything around and upside down just so their supply can continue. And it seems like a non-issue right? Who are you to say to her that she shouldn't be enjoying that? I only know one thing, it's so refreshing to not put up with these "little inconveniences".
