Anyone familiar with those freebie pages?

A friend that i know over the net just sent me a link to this video on youtube.

It says that you can get a free macbook because of some referal (if you sign up they get some advertising or something to pay for it).

I don't usually do stuff like that, but i'm actually considering doing it, but i'm not sure if it works. Have anyone had any experience with such freebie sites?

I usually stay the hell away. Businesses would never give you an easy way, just as mobile phone companies can offer free movies for download and charge people ridiculous amounts for subscribing and download fees.

Which is another thing. I ****ing hate businesses that utilize methods that are bordering on scamming to sell their goods or run promotions.

Like the other day, a friend of mine bought a 100-page notebook for a good price. Except they counted both sides of each sheet as a "page", so 50 pages.

And for pretty much the very same reason I haven't the slightest hint of sympathy for casinos. If someone robbed all casinos off billions of dollars I would say that finally the money's put to good use.
