Should we allow our love decisions overtake our life choices?

Well, the question is should our love choices take over our life choices, what we be more important running after the love by taking the risk of losing everything socially? Bringing yourself in, to protect the girl that your are in love with? Lose our jobs, and live a poor life, for the women you love even thought you know it might not end well? Either for or against and could use any comments?

Love is supposed to enhance your life, not detract from it. If you are losing jobs and social ties over your love choices, I would think there was a real problem somewhere.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
