Why would a guy want to resist having sex?

It really depends on the situation. If it's a hostile situation where there's a sexual hold off, then either forever or just find it somewhere else. If it's with someone I really like and it just feels right, then I don't see why I would resist having sex.

My gf and I have to wait anywhere from 3 weeks to 1 months in between our 3-5 days of sex... but that's because we're separated by distance. We usually have sex twice a day when we're together, and I can't imagine us not having sex at least once per day with the drives we have.

I couldn't handle being without it, until the guy I liked told me I was shallow (i.e. that's the only purpose of a guy). Wow I must be a pro then lol. I have lasted 4 months without sex. There had been times where I wanted to strip my girl down and do it on the hood of her car but I didn't lol. It was really hard. It all depends on the guy and what the relationship is like. It is a truism that guys think about sex all the time but in reality they dont NEED it all the time unless they have some type of insecurity. What is your sexual relationship like? Best thing to do with you significant other is to mix it up. If your have sex all the time, stop for a little. See how he reacts..if he seems to get flustered about it then maybe you should talk. While sex is important in serious relationship or semi important in a less serious relationship, it is meant for exploring a deeper side to your partner and enjoying each other. If it is a topic on the top of your mind, then something is wrong.
