    Tone's Hello Thread

I don't understand. The thread said goodbye. Or else it was sent on a farewell.

Was it hurting anybody? Maybe people felt left out cuz they weren't being said hello to. Hmmmm......

Who was it for? I think I missed it...
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Then they don't have to post in it??

Doesn't sound too complicated... but maybe that's just me.

Why is everything with you have to be about it's "them vs me"? It CLEARLY said it was for EVERYONE.

And yes, it said anyone could use it - that way instead of going off-topic on someone else's serious post - you could use that thread.

But oh well - Cybog's at it again.

i don't think it would have worked out that way. people would still have continued to go off topic to say hello to someone that's just shown up in the middle of someone else's thread.

good intention but not practicable, i think.

I really don't see the point of locking that thread, just abit of fun. The off topic disscusion isn't exactly busy.

    _IS_ he? LOL!

Well, maybe he just does it so that new threads like THIS one can get created. Kinda like a "make work" project...

    Here, FYI:

    mod·er·ate
    Pronunciation: 'mä-d(&-)r&t
    Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin moderatus, from past participle of moderare to moderate; akin to Latin modus measure
1 a : avoiding extremes of behavior or expression : observing reasonable limits <a moderate drinker> b : CALM, TEMPERATE
2 a : tending toward the mean or average amount or dimension b : having average or less than average quality : MEDIOCRE
3 : professing or characterized by political or social beliefs that are not extreme
4 : limited in scope or effect
