Can anyone play an instrument???

Besides the drums. Drums are way too easy to learn.
I learn the piano and learned it by ear. I started playing my first gig in 3 months. How's that for not learning through note? I started playing for church choirs, church, and lots of weddings. I got paid for every event, about $50 for every event. But yeh, I like to play The Entertainer, it's a nice piece. I could play the Entertainer in all octaves. Once in a while, I'll play something romantic on my date, it adds more chemistry into the atmosphere.

Clarinet. And sax (prefer tenor, but I own an alto). But I much prefer the clarinet. Which reminds me . . . my new clarinet hasn't gotten in yet goddamn it! But it'll be here Monday via UPS! I'm so psyched!

BTW - I stick mainly to classical. And I love chamber music and wish i could do more with that! However I do slip into jazz every now and then (usually against my will).

Yeh, I want to learn how to play the bass. But I can't alternate my fingers that fast. I guess I'm use to moving my fingers on the piano. BUt I love the piano, it has help me make some money! $$$$$$$

Dudes, playing the piano is not easy. It's kind of hard once you become intermediate. Once your intermediate, then you will realize that there's still lots to go to where you want to get. But go for it for those that want to learn. Once you get the hang of it, you might like it. It has help me pick up chiks a lot easier and make money.
