It actually depends on what's the girl's taste with regards to that. It also depends on how a man carry his style, if he looks attractive, it really doesn't matter if he has a short/long hair as long as it suits him. I like the short hair ones, the clean cut.

I do usually prefer men with longer hair.

Yet I have been involved with men who had very short hair.

Me, I'm not into long hair, although the first guy I ever dated had hair past his ears for the majority of the five years we were together. Mind you, I was young and into that 'skater' look. Not so much anymore. Now I like a short, clean cut, professional look.

Some guys look good with long hair... whereas some guys don't. Some guys can accommodate that 'ruggedly handsome' look and thus look good with stubble... whereas others do not.

It's very conditional as to whether a guy looks good with long hair or short hair... with stubble, or clean-shaven --- depending on both the woman's preferences and whichever way makes the man look his best.

My own personal preferences lend more towards a guy who has short hair and clean-shaven --- but that has more to do with him looking presentable to others as well. As for what constitutes 'hot'... anything goes, so long as the guy is attractive to me.

I've been attracted to guys with longer hair (in a ponytail) but in general I prefer shorter hair on guys. Maybe because I associate a "shaggy" look with college frat guys....

Stubble or moderate facial hair is ok. But stubble hurts!
