Keep the cake or Throw it away?

    Hypothetically speaking.

If you baked a cake and loved it very much, put your heart and sould into this cake. This cake now means everything to you. One day you come home and the cake is gone. You're torn because you planned on having the cake forever.

Now you had a "forever date" with this cake. IE: humanly speaking, marriage but we'll call it a forever date since this is about cake

Two months after the cake disappeared and a month after your supposed forever date the cake shows up again. Perfect and untouched.

You pick up the cake and take it back in. Continuously letting yourself love this cake. Take care of the cake and planning another forever date with this cake. The cake then disappears again. This time for three months before the cake shows up again. Perfect, healthy, and wants to have the forever date happen within months.

Do you keep the cake and the forever date.

    or..

The cake is expired, throw it out.

why the hell are you talking with metaphors. anyhow, i throw away anything that is old and stale, just like a relationship that is no longer providing me with healthy nutrients for life. it's into the rubbish can for that girl.

How can you trust a cake that's two months expired? How do you know it will be ateable when it's already off?

Everyone knows the icing is the best part. You've had the icing - get rid of the cake.

i think they keep it for a year or so and then decide that they need more room for actual food. shit, my wedding cake is going out with all the other trash on the wedding night. i'm not keeping that shit, it's not even very edible.

I kept my wedding cake for a year. When we took it out, I was horrified at the thought of eating it, so I threw it out.
