I'm talking with this girl by email and shes interested in me. But I have a major problem. I don't know what to talk about! What do guys usually talk about with a girl they don't know to keep the conversation going and build up a relationship?? I've started to aks her stuff about common interests like sports or music or school or the weather. But I need a better idea.

Generally, people start off talking about mutual interests. If they like each other, they progress to non-mutual interests to see if they are compatible.Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

What do you mean by non-mutual interests? Can you give me an example? How would talking about stuff we dont have in common make us compatible? Am I supposed to develop a fondness for something we dont share if she tells me she likes it?
