    I want out.

Maybe I just go against the grain or maybe I am not so different in my wants.

I love my state for a lot of reasons, but I know at some point I am leaving here and going to end up in Northern California. I have a bunch of family up there and the climate/area is just awesome.

Unfortunately, without a relocation via career and still being in college, this is wishful thinking atm.

I don't know why I felt compelled to let you all know this.

West coast is actually really nice for the most part. It caters more to my hobbies anyway. Its warm and has an ass load of tracks all within no more than a few hundred miles in all directions.

Idaho has a little bit of everything, but I am just not the winter person I use to be, so half the year is a waste to me.

Bay area is really nice, but it rains a lot and seems like its cold all the damn time, lol.

One thing that is going to suck when I move to a bigger area is insurance. 2 out of every 3 bikes is stolen at some point and full coverage is 2-4K a YEAR.

Insurance and Cost-of-Living suck balls, but it almost never rains. Past two weeks we've literally had rain storms, but the normal experience is that it won't rain for months at a time, and that farmers complain of droughts. In fact, droughts and water-rationing have been the norm for quite a while.

As for cold, in SF it gets a little colder, Berkeley is nicer since its more inland. Overall though, I always think it gets a bit too hot over here. Then again, its all about what you compare it to.

I live in Southern California, and I always freeze when up in the Bay area! Ah well, that's the beauty of California... if you like snow, we have it. If you like desert, we have it. If you like ocean, we have it.

Personally, I love wine country and the Gold Rush country best...

For some reason I thought you lived back east.

I will never complain about hot weather, ice and snow on the other hand.....you try riding on that stuff.

Yeah, that's a HUGE organization they have down there. Its fun to meet people, but you have to break off to smaller groups to find your niche. Too many people doing stupid things in those kind of groups, giving street bikes a worse public image than they already have.

I will admit, I did my part to cause unrest, but you grow out of it after a while. Being the fastest one to the grave doesn't exactly get you any bonuses.
