Meaning of life
Since the meaning of life had been raised a couple of times lately, I thought I'd post this paradox for you to think about.
At the end of the 20th century, based upon insight gleaned from the gene-centered view of evolution, biologists George C. Williams, Richard Dawkins, David Haig, among others, conclude that if there is a primary function to life, it is the replication of DNA and the survival of one's genes.
However
The fate of all life in this universe appears to be doomed as all biological life will eventually become unsustainable and extinct, be it through a Big Freeze, Big Rip or Big Crunch of the universe.
What does this mean to you and how does this affect your perception of life's meaning?

Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil
