How much does it matter if a guy is a good dancer? Or is it more that he goes to the effort of trying to dance?

It's like in the Seinfeld episode where...
it really depends on the girl.
I personally feel that I have ZERO rhythm and am not that into dancing(unless i have a few drinks in me. haha, then I am alllll about it), and actually prefer it if the guy can't dance that well. Makes me feel less awkward. When the guy is a good dancer all that is going through my head is "holy crap i am so OFF" instead of just enjoying my time. Thats just me though.
I'm not going to choose a guy based on whether or not he can dance

All I wanted was a white knight

I totally agree. I don't think it matters at all. Cute studs don't really need to be able to dance, they're get the ladies anyway. Now the guys that are insecure and are costantly trying "to get the ladies" as if in a scavenger hunt are the good dancers usually, since they're so obsessed with "the moves" and "the lines". Besides, if a guy's good dancer he night be gay as well.
I have it all. Including kino.
A girl I'm dating (and dammit I can't wait to be able to say "my girlfriend" ) made an interesting comment on this. She said good dancer = good in bed. It makes sense. A good dancer is confident with their body, has good rhythm, stamina, knows how to please, is sensual, etc. These are all traits that apply very well to love making.
I'm with Swimming & Killer . . . in my experience ability is not terribly important. Especially since I am not a good dancer myself. However he gets major points for being willing to give it a shot every now and then - especially if its something slow and he's holding me close. Love it.
