Yet again caught, between a rock and a hard place

I have been dating two women for the past month or so, and nothing too serious has happened with either yet. I usually work very fast, but the circumstances of our dates haven't allowed for escalation of the physical aspect, which is fine. The problem is that I didn't mean to start dating both, but was unsure how the first one felt. Now both seem to be falling somewhat hard and I really don't know how to handle the situation. I haven't slept with either, but I can tell when someone wants to, and they both do(and one has stated so). I know it's wrong to "sample" both and make a decision based on that, but it seems so imminent with both that I don't know if I can make a decision before this happens.

Any advice on how to break it off, with the one I decide not to go with? I never want to hurt people's feelings, so I end up just drawing it out longer and it ends up being worse.

Don't take my advice (zero experience) but I think the best way is to be straightforward. "Sorry, it's been great dating you but I've developed feelings for someone else. Hope you understand." You haven't really started anything serious, they won't be too hurt. I think. *shrugs*

Time to start asking those dealbreaker questions, I guess. There must be some way to tell which one if better suited to you besides getting into bed with them.
