It's way to expensive for anything worthwhile.
And these 3,000-5,000 deductibles?
What's the point in paying all that money if I gotta break the bank all the same if something major happens?

$3,000 - 5,000 is a mere drop in the bucket if something catastrophic happens.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
???
Except that without the health insurance, the entire bill goes to you rather than $3,000-5,000.

Not my responsibility... I've got kids to put through college. You need to get your employer to pay for a portion of it. Frankly, I think it is unethical he hire anyone without providing insurance, especially people doing manual labor.

My two options are Gracie Hart Electric.

Can you join the union? I'd go that way if I were you.

My Uncle's bill last month for 7 days in the hospital was over $100K
"Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when you're perfect in every way. I can't wait to look in the mirror, cause I get better loking each day. To know me is to love me, I must be a hell of a man. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, but I'm doing the best that I can." Mac Davis

It cost $700 to have my daughter taken to the hospital by ambulance. The hospital is literally a 7 minute walk from my house. Next time she has to go to the emergency room, I'll take her myself.

There are many critics of the union...but with free health benefits, 401k, over/double time, why would you complain?
my uncle had a stroke that rendered him dependent on others for everything, and with no effective movement of his limbs. his therapies cost 3000 dollars a month. that's the deductible. he can't get any more insurance because he had cancer which is in remission.
