Flirting Signals [The List]

Hey guys,

I've been asked many times if "that girl" or if "that guy" is flirting with them. I know there's already a bunch of topics in this forum regarding flirting, but I figured that I'd add some of the signs I've learned about over the years and share them in a list. If you have any other signs that you'd like to add, please feel free to post them. My list is as follows:

• Extended eye contact
• Subtle touch
• Giggling/Laughing
• Dialated eyes/pupils
• Inviting body language
• Compliments
• Nervous behavior
• Hugs that linger
• Smoothing wrinkles/picking fuzz off outfits
• Blushing
• Biting lips/fingers
• Playing with hair/jewelry/tie/clothing
• Batting eye lashes
• Rubbing of thighs/arms/other body parts
• Unnecessary closeness

Don't forget brushing against you slightly when walking towards you and acting as though he/she doesn't like you (or maybe he/she really doesn't like you).

What about if a guy looks at you while talking and then looks down towards your chest and back up at you again? Even if you aren't wearing something revealing?

I agree with Hitch on this one, but at the same time I feel this type of flirting is more characteristic of females rather than of males.

I know when I flirt it's alot of, "nobody loves you" and slightly guiding them so they might run into a wall. heh heh. Random acts, like dancing with them in public. But yeah, that list is alot of girl stuff.

So what about you guys? Do you have anything to contribute that is a signal your flirting with or into a girl?

And what about my chest question? I caught a guy doing this that I interact with a lot. Just during normal conversation, I will catch him looking at my chest or at least downwards from my face, then he will quickly look back up at me. Is that just a guy checking out a girl or what? I mean Im not wearing anything revealing...

Or is that just normal guy behavior? I haven't noticed many guys doing that to me at all. So whats up with that?

I can't flirt. All I do is maintain eye contact while trying to keep her engaged in conversation. To this end, I'm very agreeable & playfully discordant. I act very attentive and avoid leaning back against anything.

Regarding the downward glances, that's not flirting...every guy knows that's bad form. I'd call it uncontrolled sleaziness, if anything.

the girl i am currently infatuated with has a boyfriend, yet she shows all these signs when she's with me. She laughs at my jokes and act all giggly, she subtly touches me, her eyes dialate or whatever, she invites me to go places with just me and her. Do girls just do that to mess with guys sometimes? Could she maybe sort of like me, or am I just one of her girlfriends except with a penis.
