If she calls, how can you know ?

Dear ladies,
I will very glad to hear your opinion.
My gf break up with me 3.5 weeks weeks ago. In first two weeks she tried to make a contact with me 3-4 times but I was "busy" (and replied her with SMS).So since the break up we already 23 days total NC.
My question is more general - if she will call me one day (I think it is reasonable to assume that she will), how can I know if she really realized that she did a mistake and want us back, or just may be she bored and lonely, having some temporary emotional "blue" or may be just "keeping tabs" on me....
I don't want to be rude or ignore her, I really want her back...But at the same time, I don't want to be her "emotional tampon".
I hope it is not too much to ask.

I called her back, few hours later and even send her SMS next day...She called me back after 3-4 days, but I was really busy and couldn't answer
