    I don't think there's such a thing. There's only imho and lmao.

    imho = in my humble opinion
    lmao = laugh my ass off
    Sometimes lmao comes with an "f" and becomes lmfao which means laugh my f*cking ass off.

    hehe i asked that same thing like 3 years ago. and I worded it exactly like that. the L does kind look like an I in the fonts that I use on my machine.

    But yes - GBRaul is correct.

    There is another one I use alot - idk - which means "i dont know" -- or idc - "I dont care".

    I kinda abrv alot in my typings. Years of chatting catching up with me. I get in trouble alot at work for my abrv and punctuation. I have a big problem with putting a space before a ? or a ! and I dont know why.

    But anyways.. I forgot what I was talking about. I am recovering from a sickness I had yesterday....

    haha - once I held an entire conversation in acronyms with a friend in chat - weird thing was we understood what the other was saying the whole time.

    but seriously..It's good you asked because some I don't know either. I figured out a few like the lmao and I figure that omg = Oh My God. Is there other common ones besides the ones already mentioned??

    Ha ha..have you seen the ones they have on personals in the local paper? They'll have like SWM ISO WWB N/S F meaning Single White Male in search of Widowed Black Non-Smoker Female.. They even have legends for all these..

    yeah I've seen the personals - and I cant read them - lol

    I don't really go by a "set" of acronyms - I just make them up on the spot. And they usualy work out good and stick around.

    There is one I use ALOT in chat rooms: brbrrb (be right back restroom break)

    On all my away messeges (when I actually have the time to set them) I have bba6pCST (be back around 6:00 pm Central Standard Time)

    And if I leave for a long periods of time I will say bbia20m (be back in about 20 minutes) and the number and last letter will change accordingly. bbia2h (2 hours) etc etc..

    Those I use alot. But I guess they dont really work on a forum too well.

    wth = what the hell
    wtf = what the f*ck
    bb = bye bye
    brb = be right back
    bbl = be back later
    tmr = tomorrow
    Just some I thought of...

    I use a lot of abbreviations. It's very common to use internet lingo in Singapore rather than proper English when typing, but in one of the posts I made I typed it all in short form and Cybog pointed out he couldn't understand a shit, so I've taken to typing in proper English.
