I sometimes can't understand an attractive guy with a chubby girl either, but it happens.

i have to agree with him though. unless a fat person has some sort of a health deficiency, they really have no reason for letting themselves go. and just that reason is unattracitve to me.

Everybody has different reasons for loving someone. Maybe they feel really insecure, and want to fatten their lover up like Hansel and Grettel, so they can't mozy their ass through the door frame and cheat. Or maybe he is attracted to her mannerisms. Or maybe she's just that sweet - a lot of people believe personality is more important than physical attraction.

I had a patient who had ruptured her stomach because of eating too much after a gastric bypass surgery. They had to put a feeding tube into her intestines and she wasn't allowed any food by mouth, but wouldn't you know? Her family was bringing her in food anyway.

I'm not sure it rises to a level of a fetish because it's not a sexual attraction to a non-sexual attribute (i.e feet). I think it's just a preference just like any other. Some women are attracted to very tall men ... is that a fetish? Some men strongly prefer blondes ... is that a fetish? Many men prefer large breasts ... is that a fetish?

It's almost like the OP is saying that fat women don't deserve attraction so it's "abnormal" for a man to be attracted to them.
