I would, but I think I read that the protocol is that if he breaks off the engagement she is entitled to keep the ring but if she breaks it off then she should return it...I dunno maybe it's a parting gift

On the other hand, sexual abuse is unfortunately alot more common than people would like to admit, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's true.
