    Rhymes of love

I can still hear the unjustified sighs of rage,>>
the fearsome wrath that locked me in hate’s cage.>>
I smell the coffee, feel the restlessness within.>>
Years of light were lost somewhere between>>
paranoia for the days to come>>
and regret for those gone; when we sum>>
    up the recent painful worries,>>
we find ourselves consumed in a few “sorry”s,>>
unpredictable turns of a twisted fate,>>
forged by our attempt to boast and create.>>
Beyond conventions, someplace weird but nice>>
thought we could try to cast forbidden dice,>>
At “four” we brought my ace, your two, so we had seven,>>
the wrong key to unlock the doors of heaven.>>
We messed things up despite of good intentions>>
as my wind spread your wildfire at tensions.>>
And now I wonder after the storm what you seek.>>
Despair and doubt will not once let me speak.>>
You taught me love but also taught me ire>>
I felt attracted like a moth to fire.>>
Wish I could make those false moves disappear>>
but in they stay, strengthening my fear.>>
Maybe destiny isn’t what we defied>>
by the actions, words and feelings that we hide.>>
Maybe destiny is what we really follow,>>
crazy choices against a life too hollow.>>
It can’t be sin, love can be never treason;>>
    Behind it all there’s always a reason.>>
I just don’t see it yet but I know it is there;>>
‘cause when you’re gone my heart runs out of air.>>

    <<Unborn>>
    Children of the misty valley>>
    Play loudly with a sphere,>>
hide and seek in a dark alley.>>
If only you were with me here.>>
    Listen to my whispers now.>>
See me yearn for him tonight.>>
    When I cry, don’t raise a brow,>>
Know his eyes I can not fight.>>
Children of the blur and mist>>
    understand you still can’t come.>>
Feel the chains on your wrists,>>
you can’t utter the word ‘mum’.>>
    Kids, in non existence stay.>>
Play, have fun until you’re born>>
cause when you come to life you’ll pray>>
to return through a cord torn.>>
    Innocence is not forever>>
and you lose it upon birth.>>
    You won’t come if you’re so clever,>>
You will never come to earth.>>
    Little angels, it’s his choice,>>
You will come when he commands.>>
I so need to hear his voice>>
and know at last where he stands.>>
    But don’t worry cause I’m sworn>>
Someday to understand and feel you.>>
He says he wants you to be born.>>
    And I promise I won’t kill you.>>

    I sat and I prayed>>
    for nights and days>>
    in numerous ways;>>
    I run and I stayed.>>
    Prayers unheard,>>
    few dry tears of pain,>>
    always so vain,>>
    revealed no one cared.>>
    Till prayers were muted,>>
    no good to deaf ears,>>
    I swallowed my fears>>
    and then executed>>
    faith’s each tiny grain>>
    for the good of those>>
    who somehow chose>>
    to silence their brain.>>
    I tried to belong.>>
    That meant do not feel.>>
    Nothing seemed real>>
    but knew I was strong.>>
    I have no clue>>
    What fate has in store.>>
    Do not ask for more,>>
    just look for what’s true.>>
    And days pass so fast.>>
    As people pretend>>
    that dreams have no end,>>
    mine gather dust.>>
    You never stop acting>>
    and stick to your role>>
    though it’s hot as coal>>
    and always distracting>>
    from bitter real life.>>
    That’s frozen like ice>>
    but you shut your eyes>>
    to deny the strife>>
    between good and evil.>>
    Inside you it burns,>>
    brings sorrows, concerns>>
    but your mask is civil.>>
    We are all so small>>
    and not a bit clever,>>
    pretend since forever>>
    and make buildings tall>>
    to reach a strange sky,>>
    to tame the unknown,>>
    snatch things we don’t own,>>
    shoot those who ask why.>>

    What if I die tomorrow?
    The clouds will never stop
    running through skies of sorrow,
    watching u till u drop .
What if I win this battle
    and somehow I survive?
    Life never seems subtle
    Even to those who thrive.
I am too young to know,
I am too old to hope.
    While u boast and show,
    I’m climbing time’s rope.
But wait, don’t u just leave me,
I play, risk to be burnt,
    ‘cause everywhere, believe me,
    there’s lesson to be learnt.

Since the thoughts stopped being pure,
and the dreams went on fire,
the need came, to make sure,
that life is love and love’s desire
    for the wicked and unknown,
    for the power that consumes,
and if gone will make me stone.
    Somebody up there assumes
I will go with the flow.
But only I can tell what’s true.
I pledged to tag along your glow,
‘cause life is love, and love is you.
    So simple, yet secretly spoken,
in a world that envies dreams.
With feelings shallow, hopes are broken.
Close their ears to my screams.
Ignore me; that will keep them safe.
    Little sheep follow the cattle.
To their eyes I’m odd and waif.
They can’t make me lose this battle.

For C. A., the man of my dreams, on our 4th anniversary on Halloween.
    I love you
Ah u get the picture or u want me to sign it in blood?
