Well, last night I decided to take the initiative with my boyfriend and his indecisiveness about returning to his ex in Australia or staying with me. Last Thursday, it was very disturbing to see my bf in emotional turmoil and flip-flopping between wanting me and wanting his ex. He's functioning on pure and volatile emotions of love, guilt, regret, anger and God knows what else, and is in no condition to make a responsible decision about his future happiness. So I called him last night and suggested that he see a psychotherapist. I got the name of the doctor from my therapist. My bf embraced the idea and said that after his trip to Boston this weekend where he's staying with friends, if he's still in turmoil, he will make an appointment to see the therapist. I hope he does see her and I feel better for taking action and intervening instead of standing on the sidelines in pain and doing nothing at all.

Yeah, I agree Lloyd. It was nice of you to suggest that to him Margot. I just don't see him going since he said after he gets back from his trip and IF he's still in turmoil.

Knowing my bf, he will still be an emotional wreck when he returns from Boston on Monday. And he sounded horrible on the phone last night. Anyway, it's his choice to see her or not see her. I've done everything I can to help him.
