I don't know how to meet people

I don't usually become interested in anyone unless I've seen him several times and I know what he's like, so in the past I would only meet someone in class and, as I got older, at work.

Lately, I'm trying to date more casually, and I don't want to do it with people at work. But I don't know where/how. Online dating doesn't work for me because chemistry is also important to me, and it's not the same via messaging vs in real life.

I do go out, but the activities I do aren't really geared toward men, and from what I've read "singles only" events tend to interest a lot of creepers.

Ideas?

There is no shortcut into having a wonderful relationship with just the right person.

Do whatever you have fun doing (social activities) and get to learn new people there
