In love with someone I shouldn't be ..advice on situation please.

I won't bore you with it but my longtime friend of 17 years.
I fell in love with her brother and he was in love with me (I believe him)
He had a girlfriend and he ended it,she found out she was pregnant so he wanted to be a decent man..they got back together.
Me and him cut contact because it wasn't right.
Removed each other from Facebook but me and his sister were still friends.
He was getting drunk still and causing arguments with her about me,mentioning me etc
She cut contact with me and it's been a year.
I reactivated my Facebook the other day and straight away she deleted and blocked me.
Her mum (who wasn't on friends list ) also blocked me.
Why go out of her way to do that when I wasn't even on her Facebook anyway?
It's like they want to pretend I don't exsist
Yet he hasn't blocked me.
Can anyone shed any light

Are you still in love with him? I think this situation is too messy and you should walk away if possible.

I do still love him.
Honestly think I always will but nothing will become of it now.
Why do you think my friend (ex friend) and her mum are blocking me everywhere?
Why did they cut me off after 17 years?
In the hope he would forget about me?

Yes, that's very likely. I know it sucks for you, but they are trying to make it easier for their family member which is understandable.

After 17 years, why would you still care about the reasons why they blocked you?
I think deep inside you know it very well that they try to keep you away from him. As long as you are not seen by him, they just pray that everything will go right.

I know it really hurts to love someone especially you know that he loves you as well. But it seems to me that moving on and releasing yourself out of this mess is the only option to not get hurt again.
