Rosebud... dont be put off by the title. This is a GREAT book (was life-changing for me!)... but you want to replace "rich" with whatever it is in your life that you are after. It is more about achieving a goal - any goal - than it is about "getting rich".

So long as you keep that in mind, you'll really love this book! Or at least I did

Hayward, what I meant by saying new ground is the headway I have made in this. And I 'm looking at that as new ground to start from. Yes my grammar is not always the best..but I try!

I just saved that book to my pc so I will start reading that as soon as I can. And I would agree there may be a little hostility when I do something on my own but I have to, to be able to gain my own existance back.

I'm looking inot these businesses you and Indepedent are looking into, I have to say there's so much I get overwhelmed and confused a little but hopefully it will be something that will work for me. I love to write so I'm sure I can come up with something.

Ah. There you go again taking off too large of a bite. Don't think of it as a business. Think of it as the business of your life. There's nothing to be overwhelmed or confused over. Just begin where you are. If writing is where you feel best, start there doing little things for neighbors, friends and acquaintances. For free. In the beginning. One thing will inevitably lead to another -- IF you stay the course -- and, before you know it, you'll be filing Profit & Loss documents with with your tax returns...or hiring someone to.

Don't say to yourself: "I'm gonna start a business." Say: "I'm gonna live my life." With just a little thought and little discipline, you CAN transform whatever you love doing into a livelihood for yourself. People do it everyday. Why shouldn't you, too? It's not as if you've got a job holding you back.

It's not a "business" you're making or money you're after. Those are just the means to what you're after. Too often, too many confuse the two and let means -- or lack thereof -- become an obstacle. Don't you. If there's no other truth in existence, there is this one: If you do what you love and do it well, everything else follows. The future isn't a place that happens to us. It's a thing we, ourselves, shape. So, go out and shape a future...ONE SMALL moment at a time.
