Any womanisers out there?

Long story short.
So I had been seeing a guy for about 4 weeks. It ended abruptly from his end. It's been a few weeks since we spoke and he messaged me tonight and apologised. He said he is a womaniser and I'm a nice girl but it wouldn't work. He is focusing on becoming a better person and I will find happiness elsewhere and to trust him I wouldn't want to be with him. He wrote me this to help me find closure.
So did he even like me? Or was I just another number?
Any womanisers out there that can shed some light as to WTF?

It's possible that he liked you, but he probably is able to like multiple women at the same time. At least he was up-front about it so you weren't strung along for too long. It sucks, but you can move on.
