My heart goes out to you too.....I agree that she is confused, massively confused and unfortunately she has NO CLUE what she is giving up! But that's her loss...not yours. I know you're hurting but you also have a really sound mind on your shoulders and will come out stronger in the end. You gotta trust that.
Focus on the meds stuff you gotta get done, work out, get busy and try to get your mind off it. And I agree that writing that email would be very helpful. I am struggling with the same thing.....

Damn. You guys are awesome. I thought this forum was just going to be a place to vent, but thanks for all of the input. Its a little better, because I've been talking to a new girl, who admittedly isn't the perfect fit, but I might try something a little more casual with for a bit. These long relationships make you forget about the word "dating". I think I'm just going to get out there, take some chances, probably they won't work out, but hey, I guess that's just the first step in getting back on the horse. Before I met my ex, I thought "I'm never going to meet the perfect person" and then I met her, who was at the time, "prefect". So they are rare, yes, but there are more "prefect people" out there for me. I'll just have to keep my faith in that. Thanks a hell of a lot, guys!
