How to apologize to my long distance girlfriend?

My girlfriend is a Costa Rican. When I first met her during a Latin singles tour, I was surprised on how jolly and lively she is. We hit it off great and was confident that we wouldn’t have so much problems if we got together. Before I left, I asked her to be my girlfriend and three months later, here I am, trying to calm her down and to apologize. Boy, was I underestimating her sweet personality. She’s scary when she’s mad and I respect her for being angry at me for valid reasons. I kind of messed up (it’s too personal for me to say here) and now, I have no clue as to how I can make it up to her. I really need help on how to apologize to someone who’s miles away. This is the first time for me. Help!

Explain to her your anxiety about being with someone miles apart. Tell her your trying your best to be there for her and whatever you did you honestly don't know what to do. Honesty is so much better than not voicing your opinion.
