How about making a BBQ wedding in the great outdoors??? That way you don't have to stress about finding reception hall and rest in the comfort of knowing that there will be always enough room for all of your nice LF friends who will be invited to attend

LOL, our house is a decent size but not able to fit 100+ people. But good idea though! I ahd thought of that before as well, but the room has always been the factor in that.

My friend did it the best way......she got married in Vegas (cheap....but cute!), and then had a big reception for all the family and friends back home. Rented a community hall for $175, bought all the food herself and had several family members prepare it for her and bring it over. The hall already came with tables, chairs, dishes, all the serving stuff, P.A., etc....all we had to do was come in early, and set up/decorate. Place looked great, everyone had a great time. Didn't look cheap at all, but it was.

The way I see it, is there's no reason to save up for a whole year to pay for a hundred+ people to stuff their faces for a couple of hours. Who cares what they think anyway, it's your day and it's all about you. If all they can talk about is how crappy the food is, they're there for the wrong reasons anyways. So screw 'em.

LOL, yea one of my brothers did the same thing. My other brother had the $80k wedding and all. I don't care what other's think but I want them to be comfortable so I can be comfortable and not worried about it.
