ok i like this girl at my school. i got to know her better too. i wanna ask her out, and i did. but then she thinks i still have a girlfriend because i have not really told much people about my current status. everytime i ask her something she always brings up my ex because she thinks we still go together. i really like her. but i dont know how to tell her that im single because it doesnt look that way at all. because i still hang around with my ex like normal friends.. i mean.. nobody really thinks we are broken up because we still look so close to each other. btw our school is small. so we all pretty much know each other..
ok heres wat i said and wat she said.
"hey, are u busy tomorrow?"
"why?"
"wanna go watch harry potter with me tomorrow?"
"why dont u go with *my ex name* ? "

and then subject changed.

so i need help. but i cant have a chance to talk with her about me.. if she doesnt go out with me to talk..

The next time you ask a girl out and she asks you why aren't you taking someone else, just ask her why she is asking you that question. That will give you the opportunity to let her know that you aren't seeing anyone else.
