Nah - he is definitely not my type. He has a skinny little boy @ss and legs, and is kind of blonde-ish. I'm sticking with George Clooney. (Come to think of it, though, wasn't he in a movie with her?)_

Thanks all for your comments and after a short interlude discussing the subtle nuances of shh! now being called vashti and the possibility of in the near future another name change, to see if lloyd can have a nervous breakdown, I went ahead and got a TV card anyway.

*not to be read by those easily sent to sleep by geeky things*

Asip, to second your post, I too can now play games, whilst watching TV and / or be browsing the internet and buring p*rn to DVD at the same time. To surther the status of geek amongst at least some of us on the LF, i've just recently bought my second SATA150 60Gb hardrive (they're dirt cheap, but great for doing complicated things with) with really funky slim-line cabbling to the mothership , now have two SATA150 drives on a RAID 0+1 array, creating redundancy on both drives whilst running in parallel, so all files are read and written to both drives at the same time meaning that ooh my god my brain is melting, damn it, must stop - but then I'm a sucker for punishment and will be getting another two identical drive so i'm gonna end up with four identical SATA150 drives on a RAID array doing who only knows what with one another.

ps - all *video's* are stored on a seperate 160Gb drive.

*/end not to be read by those easily sent to sleep by geeky things*

... but aye, being able to record programmes and pause live TV is very great indeed, but i guess the novelty will wear off in a bit
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

A sad thing in life is that sometimes you meet someone who means a lot to you only to find out in the end that it was never bound to be and you just have to let go.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same.

You forgot to mention the part where Asip called Lloyd an ass in your recap.

vashti, i've noted myself to pay more attention when reading threads, but on the plus side i've now got a bunch of white twinkly lights up in my front room, kitchen and up the stairs to bring a splash of the festive season to my home.

Hope you've been keeping weel since I was last in the LF
