Tone, turn it off, close the lid and shake it vigorously upsidedown. then turn it back on. Betcha it works. Gotta shake it hard, a few curse words may help too, that's what I do.

We study microscopic organisms (many being vectors for disease) including bacteria, protozoans, algae, fungi and animals. We are moving into viruses after the exam. We also will spend about 6 weeks being given unknown organsisms that we have to identify through multiple testing methods, but of course there are millions of types of organisms out there! It is a germ freak's nightmare. Originally Posted by Tone

Ahh! That sounds kinda cool. I always liked doing those kind of labs in High School.
