    Your favourite Decade...

So, what's your favourite DECADE? You don't have to be old enough to have actually LIVED in it, just choose:

    60's, 70's, 80's, or 90's...

I'll take it back to the 50's. You know what, I'll extend it to the 40's.

I think a poll would be appropriate.

I think they have each held their own charm except the one we are currently living in. I think as a society we are regressing.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I agree. In the forties, boys became men at the age of 18! Today, things are a lot different.

I like the 70's style. 80's is kinda cool too. 90's was like, yeah whatever. I wonder if our kids would be like: Woah, it must've been 'cool' to live in the 90's...

...I guess that depends on how 'their' decade of life is like, you know? They would need something to compare it to! But that's the future, and also a different thread.

The 90s were pretty good! Clinton was president, ya know!!

I do like the late 60s-70s. In addition to the great music, young people were so much less apathetic about politics than they are now. I used to think all we needed to get college kids interested in something besides themselves was a war in which their peers were dying, but obviously I was wrong.

for me it's definately the 90's. Technology just evolved hand over hand, and it's the decade goa and psy really took of. Seeing as that's my passion, the 90's have been a good decade for me
On really romantic evenings of self, I go salsa dancing with my confusion...

Squirley - your love of 80s hair and clothes made me laugh out loud!

Anyway, I think most people will choose the time period from which they were young. It goes along with that whole "good old days" mindset.

Love the 80's; best music ever.

You need to go back a few decades so Whayward can cast his vote.

I've got a friend like that. It's creepy. She's been to more funerals than everyone else I know of, put together. I haven't quit being her friend, though..
