Hmmm emoticons can be decieving.
The last guy that I got to know on MSN would always start our convos with a skelton sticking up it's middle finger and then I found out he had a thing for me (not one that he was prepared to act on though). Who would have known? You could always send him a kiss emoticon and see what he says. Otherwise I would go with either the gay or florist theories.
