This is a poem I wrote 3 years ago for a girl I was madly in love with..
I was reminded because I just wrote a letter from her again.

I rest my heart in your arms
Wish only you would hold it tight
I expose my soul to you
If only you would look up
Into my eyes you’d see
My love for you is greater
Then any love could ever be
And all the people all the places, everything I see
Wherever I look even in my dreams
I’m reminded of your beauty,
Your tender words and deep brown eyes
And with every step I take, and all the things I do
I feel like drowning in this pool
In a reflection of you, in these black waters they call love
Please help me breathe…
