My girlfriend is into that, so I guess it's not just exclusively a guy thing. Since she really likes me to go barefoot a lot, I've had to get used to it. One time I spent a few days at her place and she talked me into leaving my shoes and socks at home. I ended up going everywhere barefoot for almost a week.
