I think also, at such a young age, it is just a popularity contest, guys at 13 who have girls seem to be "higher" on the social foodchain.

I tell you something aswell, no disrespect, im 21, and my youngest sister is 13, and I cannot see her thinking in that way yet. One of the things you need to understand is that guys of your age are starting to rage with hormones, and this will never ever stop. The difference with you and me is that I am older and have started to learn to control them. At 13, hormones are new and I know you don't understand what is happening, but just try not to worry about it, its all part of life.

Also maturity doesn't really have to do with it, I am 21, and only have had one gf, and this is mainly due to self confidence, low self esteem, and worrying about being single. I have found it best to take it off your mind if you can.
