And the "gun thing" was certainly a big issue everywhere else in the nation. Maybe people down here are right about the west coast.

I just talked to my sister who lives in Massachusetts. The Kerry gun thing wasn't big there either (she hadn't even heard of it as an issue). It must have just been that way in the gun-loving states, which actually makes sense, don't you think?
