This is not one of those great, funny, humorous, and witty threads I usually post here (talk about being modest), but at least it's sincere.

I am leaving Moscow for two years in just 28 hours. I went out to "celebrate" my successful departure, but was swept with memories and all kinds of emotions. On the one hand I'm excited and on the other, I'm upset. It just happened so fast, I was taking finals up until the very last minute, and now it turned out I have way too many things to do in just one day! Since I was celebrating my departure in the center (right on Tverskaya - which is like Broadway in NY), I decided to take a walk home by foot. It was so snowy and pretty, I threw my arms in the air and whirled in circles feeling the snowflakes landing on my face and hair - I wanted to embrace Moscow and let everyone know how much I love it. Even the slippery sidewalk, melting snow in my hair, freezing cold, and wet jeans didn't bother me (in fact Moscow greeted me in return with a huge pile of snow I landed on when I slipped). I can't believe I'm leaving my parents, friends, and everything that is so dear to me for two years. *teardrop*

Okay, no time for posting threads. Gotta do my laundry and pack.

Its sad, when you leave a place filled with the very memories that made your life what it is, what made it special. At the very least, the memories remind us, of those times that made us feel alive.

Have a safe Journey Killer, Just west of Denver in the mountains is very beautiful scenery. Be sure to check out Aspen, Co. Even during the summer it is a nice place to go. Don't forget to go white water rafting!! Or in Colorado river terms "Murky water rafting"

I was in Colorado back in June of 97, I could have picked up all my belongings and stayed there. I believe Colorado is the best kept secret in the states.
