Thanks for pointing to those organizations! I poked around their websites but couldn't find any mention of a study I came across several years ago. The results, as best I recall, were that early adolescents were several times more likely to CLAIM sexual experience (to impress peers, etc) than to have actually done it.

That's true. I've read whne they gave anonymous surveys to teens, it turns out that far less of them have had sex or even any sexual experience than they say they have. Especially when it comes to boys.

I remember at 15 and 16, we thought girls having sex at that age were slutty. A friend of ours admitted to having sex when we were 15, and everyone got totally disgusted with her over it. Whereas if the guys were having sex (or claiming to), everybody was in awe of them.
