Returning a phone call isn't the same thing as initiating one, grkscorp.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

I don't know. I like Scorp's way alot better. Think about it. The guy makes all the effort, to start a conversation, and before it's all over, he makes the effort to leave a contact number so that the two of you can meet up again. The least she can do in return is to call back. If a girl wants a guy to start the conversation, a guy to leave and get the number, a guy to call back, a guy to do this, a guy to do that, exct. Then she's not worth going out with.

I'm sure this is the type of girl that no guy wants. If he's risking rejection and breaking the ice by starting the conversation, and then risking to hear "no", when gives his number or ask for her own, then the burden of calling back falls on the girl. It's an even exchange. Anything else would be selfish and inconsiderate.

OK, call me selfish and inconsiderate. I wouldn't call you first, but if I were out and missed your call, I WOULD call you back.

Uuhh.. I'm not sure I would say that it's a question of fairness.. You can't set defined rules in the dating game, and even if you do, you can't expect too many people to follow them..

It seems unfair, and I can see your point, but it's more of a statement that says (I like you, call me)... It's bold, direct, manly, and most importantly, confident.

After that, you should either get a number back, or a call back from the number you give out.

You know, women just don't understand the concept of cell phones.

I call my girlfriend the other day, and she picks up and says:

"How did you know I was in the supermarket?!?!?"

    Smart girl, huh?

I kid. Actually, I don't even bother answering my phone when I am away from home. I don't like to be bothered.

I wouldn't get a cell phone unless I planned to answer it outside my own home.

But, I only pick up my cell phone. They are cheaper than home phones in general.

Nah - they are good for dialing out in an emergency.

Vashti, why in the world would you bring a phone out other than to use it? An emergency? Judging from your calling habits, I'm guessing your friends aren't that close to you, so why would they call you? If you buy it, use it. It's not decoration...

I have a daughter with a medical condition (epilpsy) which requires me to be near a phone in case of emergency. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

Damn, haven't you guys ever heard of leaving a message? Why should I be at anyones beck and call 24/7? Why would anyone *want* to be?

Cell phones are nothing more than an electronic leash. No thanks.

I just read that again... if you have a daughter... then... what are you doing in a loveforum??? Married people can't give advice, it's biased... same goes with single moms, or just moms in general

Hah! Would you prefer the blind leading the blind? And who says I am married?

Well, okay, I am. But still, I might not be.

Dude, seriously, have some respect. She just told you that her daughter has epilepcy.

In which case. You should seriously talk to a doctor about (Lamictal).

    - Unlike other medications for epilepcy, Lamictal is the only one of its kind that does not inhibit learning ability (analytical/logic). Less than 2% have reported cases where they have been unable to preform the same in math, or suffer from mild memory loss.

    - Lamictal is taken twice, daily.

    - Talk to your family doctor, or go visit a Neurologist for a better opinion.

The blind leading the blind? I study the human mind as my hobby... which is what I do when I don't do work... which is always. I think for an unmarried person I know alot about things >; (
